Children’s NHS Dental Services at Queens Road Dental

It is a good idea to introduce the dentist to your child/children at a young age. It enables them to familiarise themselves with the environment so that it makes their visit to us is a pleasant one. It is also good for us as dental care professionals to keep a close eye on their teeth so that if any problems occur, they are dealt with early on. Regular dental examinations are the key to preventive care.

NHS treatment for our patients under 18 years of age includes all necessary dental treatment that a dentist usually undertakes and which the patient has agreed to undergo.

Cosmetic treatments can often be provided for patients under 18 years old too, and we can arrange referrals to Orthodontic Practices for the straightening of teeth, and to local hospital Dental Departments for advanced surgical procedures where necessary.
