Dental emergencies we can help with

If you are not sure whether your problem is urgent, call us and our team will advise you.

Toothache

Persistent or severe tooth pain needs to be assessed so we can find the cause and relieve it.

Broken or chipped teeth

We can assess a broken tooth and protect it, often with a crown.

Lost fillings or crowns

A lost filling or crown can leave a tooth sensitive and exposed. We can help to restore it.

Swelling or infection

Swelling or signs of infection should be seen promptly. A dental infection will not go away without treatment.

Dental trauma

Knocks and injuries to the teeth or mouth should be checked as soon as possible.

Bleeding

Bleeding that will not settle, including after treatment, should be checked.

When to call 999 or go to A&E: if you have swelling that is affecting your breathing or swallowing, bleeding that will not stop, or a serious injury to your face or head. Outside our opening hours, NHS 111 can advise you on urgent dental care.
